Moving On To Better Things...

No more Britney Drama,

Justin got over Britney and moved on in his career and his love life. During the Big tour Justin got caught kissing Charlie's angel Cameron Diaz outside of her hollywood hills home. And by April 15, of 2003 word spread of the new couple. Justin at the time was 22 and Cameron was 30 but dispite the age difference the two had a very romantic love connection. At first it was just fun and games but later this relationship would soon become very serious. Justin even brought Cameron on the Christina tour to spend more time with each other. The relationship was kept very hush hush, for reasons Justin says "Keeping the relationship quiet really made it more enriching and enjoyable for us both." And it seemed to work, because the relationship lasted even longer than when he was with Britney, when all of the things that happened between them was opened up to everyone.

This was Justin's first "adult" relationship in his love history, so he says. But still the tabloids had named them a very unusual couple, seeing as their nine year age difference. But Justin and Cameron didn't let that get in the way of the emotional and physical attraction. The relationship continued on for almost 4 years. They were both very much in love...

The Sexiest Tour, Justin and Christina Aguleria

In 2003, from June 4 to August 24, Justin and Christina Aguleria go on what is known in the tabloids as the sexiest tour. Promoting both of their new album's Justified and Stripped. This tour was a 3 month, 40 city tour, and Christina's third tour of her career. This tour was one of the most discussed tour of 2003. With the biggest pop artists of the year. In the USA the tour had grossed over $45 million dollars alone. And since the stages they performed on were always huge, they had to have over 150 crew memebers to set up the stage for the next performer. They had to have over 20 buses to carry all the stage equipment from state to state. But unfortunately there had been some accidents with the stage setup and equipment during the tour.

But the major accident happened in Boardwalk hall in Atlantic City in August. The support grid had collased on the stage before any performance an some show that were schedueled for the tour had to be cancelled or postponed. But luckily no one got hurt. But regardless of this, the tour was a huge success and dubbed the best tour of the year. And by the fourth quarter of the tour Justin had finished touring with Christina and went back to his hometown. While Christina went on to her album titled international tour. This tour had boosted up Justin's career and made this new solo artist even more popular.

Bitter Break Up

2 years past since Justin and Britney first announced they were datng. And their relationship was no picnic in a park. Like all relationships there were some tough times in the adorable love story. But they were very close. It was said that they were each others first love. So the break up was heard for them both,

It was March 14 of 2002,

And the tabloids had written an article about seeing Britney Spears with another guy. The first time Justin saw it he forgave her for it. But when the second tabloid of Britney came out, He felt as though that was enough. The couple had arguments and disagreements about what the magazine had said but Justin decided to end the relationship. He did this face to face with her. For a while the break up was kept a secret, but when the tabliods discovered it, word spread around the world. Everyone was shocked an amazed by the most popular celebrity couples break up. It took a while for Justin and Britney to get over the big break up as well.

Since they were long time friends and said to have had puppy love During The New Mickey Mouse Club days and Justin even gave Britney here first kiss when they were 12/11, they took the break up very hard. Emotional Distress began to take over Britney Spears. And neither of them could even talk about it. During an interview Justin states that talking about the break up was too hard for him because the conversation would end in tears. He also said that he cried himself to sleep one night with a broken heart. He then turned to his mother to help him through his rough time. Justin then created a very contreversial song called "Cry Me A River" for his debut solo album, Justified, later that year. He denies that any of the lyrics were for Britney but when you really listen to the song you understand what the contreversy was all about.

But, after this bitter break up Justin decided to keep his love life on hold and stay focused on his music. At this time he was taking a huge step in his career with a new solo album, so he wanted to be more focused on his future.

Nsync On A Break

In early 2002, the group decided to take a break. After their 4 albums reached the top of the charts the group went their different ways for a while. Justin even got started with his own new project. In 2002 Justin started planning on a new solo album. And following Justin, Nsync memeber JC Chasez began to work on his solo album.

During this break Justin also enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend Britney Spears. Helping her with her self title album which was schedueled to be out by the end of the 2001 year. With Justin along by her side the two's relationship got even closer. Rumored that they had broken their vow to not have sex until marriage. The couple moved on from that rumor and focused on their relationship. But soon this relationship would crash and burn......

Justin and Britney?

First tabloid news about Justin and Britney. In 2000 the two were rumored to be dating. But like all celebrity couples they denied that story. Britney told the People magazine " We are just friends nothing more." They had been friends from the new mickey mouse club and they had stayed friends. At that time Justin was 12 and Britney was 11. But like we all know they were not just friends.

In October of that same year the couple annouced that they were indeed a couple. After a paparazzi spotted them kissing at a local lounge. And the legacy of their relationship began. The most adorable celebrity couple of the year enjoyed their two years together. And people say it was true love. And it was. The legendary "Pinky And Stinky" made their mark on the celebrity couple history. Britney also be-friended all of the Nsync memebers along with long time friend JC Chasez. Justin and Britney were in sepereable. They even did some duets with each other that were featured on one of Britney Spears's album. "What its like to be me" a track on her 2001 album is an example. They seemed to be the perfect love story.

Bye Bye Bye

No Strings Attached to Nsync!

After the long legal dispute Nsync's career began to take off with Jive Records. They released one of the most popular album's of Nsync history titled "No Strings Attached" With the legendary hit song " Bye Bye Bye." This highly anticipated album was released on March 21, 2000. And once the album hit the stores, it was an instant hit! On the first day that it was released it sold more 1.1 million copies. And in the first week it sold a record breaking 2.4 million copies. The group then began the No Strings Attached world tour. Tickets for their concerts sold out on the first day they were on sale. Every concert was sold out. If you didnt get a ticket first, you couldnt get one at all.

The album was also said to be a message for their former manger/con-artist Lou Pearlman. Seeing as the hit "Bye Bye Bye" was a song about being controlled and finally breaking free. Also on the cd cover it has them on puppet strings. It was an album to celebrate their freedom. And it was an album that Nsync fans would not soon forget. With their hit singles "Bye Bye Bye", "Its Gonna Be me" and "This I Promise You" Nsync was back on the top of the charts.

The 1999 Nsync Court Battle

Their huge battle with former group manager Lou Pearlman began in November of 1999.

When the group left BMG Records to continue their carrers with Jive records they were hit with a $150 milion dollar lawsuit by ex-manager Lou Pearlman. Nsync also unleashed a countersuit agaisnt Lou and his three Trans Continental business holdings, for citing fraud, breach of contract, and Pearlman's breach of fiduciary duty while he was the group's manager. They claimed that he was a scam artist and member JC Chasez said that "he never allowed us to consult any lawyers during the period of time that he was representing Nsync nor did he let us see any contracts from Nsync's label deals at BMG Records or for RCA Records."

He also tried to pressure them into hiring John Wright so that he could get more money and that Wright would pay attention to Nsync and not his boyband The Backstreet Boys. The group also claimed that pearlman pickpocketed some of their money earned from the successful Nsync album. Nsync's lawyer also stated that when the band members were younger than 18 Pearlman took advantage of them and showed them confusing contracts filled with self dealing. Those confusing contracts gave pearlman 50% of all recording royalties and 100% of all advances, plus a further 25% of recording income as management commission.
Nsync was afraid that if they had lost the court battle that their careers, and the boy band would be finished. But they knew they could not stay with Pearlman and they could not stand to be taken advantage of. Soon the court dispuite was finished, Nsync won the court battle. They finally, legally left BMG and were able to join Jive records with their new manager Johnny Wright.

The First Official Album...A Hit!

With their first album Nsync scored a German record label with BMG. In Europe the album was released on March 26, 1997. And it didnt take long for this album to become an instant hit. Due to the singles, "I Want You Back" and "Tearin' Up My Heart". With huge success in Europe the group began to tour abroad before the album was released in the United States.

Then on March 24, 1998 the new boy- bands album was released in the United States. But at first the album was not as successful as it was in Germany. Until the Nsync 1998 Summer Disney Concert. The concert was a huge success. Sales began to sky rocket and Nsync reached #2 on the music charts. The album sold over 11 million copies in the United states alone. Making it 11x Platnium and winning the group an award for selling over 10 million copies.

They became full blown stars and won the 1999 Teen Choice awards for Album of the year.

The Start Of The Nsync Era...

After the Mickey mouse club was cancelled, in 1995 a new project came to rise. As a talented agent Lou Pearlman asked Justin to join a new boy band.

At the age of 14, Justin teamed up with Chris KirkPatrick, and former dancer Joey Fatone. Justin then invited his buddy from the mickey mouse club, JC Chasez to join the group. Then came another teen named Jason Watkins. He quickly dropped out of the group and was replaced with the member we all know today, Lance Bass. This new boyband then needed a name. And who better to come up with one than Justin's own mother Lynn.

She came up with a clever name by rearranging the last letters in each of the boy's name to create what we know as *Nsync. Then the boy-group creators, Lou Pearlman and Johnny Wright (who also created The Backstreet Boys) began to manage the group. Soon enough *Nsync's career would reach sky high. With Justin as one of their lead singers.
